2026 Keynote Speaker
Susan Wise Bauer
We are thrilled to share that this yearโs keynote speaker for the West Virginia Homeschool Connection 2026 event on ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐, will be Susan Wise Bauer, a historian, writer, and educator.
Susan taught for fifteen years at the College of William & Mary in Virginia and has authored numerous influential works, including The Great Shadow (St. Martinโs Press), The Art of the Public Grovel (Princeton University Press), The Well-Trained Mind, The Well-Educated Mind, The Story of Western Science, the History of the World series (W. W. Norton), and the beloved Story of the World series (Well-Trained Mind Press).
Her contributions have shaped the way countless families and educators approach learning, and we look forward to welcoming her to this yearโs event!
