2026 West Virginia Homeschool Connection Event Keynote Speaker

We are thrilled to share that this year’s keynote speaker for the West Virginia Homeschool Connection 2026 event on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑𝟏, will be Susan Wise Bauer, a historian, writer, and educator.
Susan taught for fifteen years at the College of William & Mary in Virginia and has authored numerous influential works, including The Great Shadow (St. Martin’s Press), The Art of the Public Grovel (Princeton University Press), The Well-Trained Mind, The Well-Educated Mind, The Story of Western Science, the History of the World series (W. W. Norton), and the beloved Story of the World series (Well-Trained Mind Press).
Her contributions have shaped the way countless families and educators approach learning, and we look forward to welcoming her to this year’s event!
